[PostgreSQL] 설치 전 확인사항

Supported Platforms
다양한 OS platform을 지원하고 있으므로 설치 환경에 맞는 OS와 OS비트(32bit/64bit) 버전을 확인하여 PostgreSQL을 설치해야 한다.(Unix의 경우에는 PostgreSQL 소스 파일을 다운로드 받아서 컴파일 하여 사용해야 한다.)
PostgreSQL의 supported platforms의 정보는 아래와 같다.
operating systems
- Linux (all recent distributions)
- Windows (Win2000 SP4 and later)
- FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, OS X, AIX, HP/UX, Solaris, Tru64 Unix, and UnixWare
- Other Unix-like systems may also work but are not currently being tested.
PostgreSQL 엔진 다운로드
설치파일은 EDB공식 홈페이지에서 제공하는 다운로드 링크를 이용하여 다운로드 받아 볼 수 있다.
